# Setting Up Auto Roles

1. Go to Server Settings -> Roles

3. Go to Bot Web Manager [https://yagpdb.xyz/?err=no\_active\_guild](https://yagpdb.xyz/?err=no_active_guild)
4. Click on Control Panel, top right.
5. Log in using discord.

8. Create New Group. There needs to be one group per message

9. Create New Command. Name the Role, select group and role.

12. Link auto role to message, use command: 
    1. ```
        -rolemenu create [group name] -nodm -m [message id]
        ```
    2. \[Group name\] - created in step 8.

    4. Example: -rolemenu create racing -nodm -m 1030185684448850050

13. If you need to add additional roles
    
    
    1. Add same way as in step 9.
    2. Run command: 
        1. ```
            -rolemenu update [message ID]
            ```
